A colourful felt painting of a vase of poppies. 
 
This painting was created by carefully building up layers of merino wool, using a single barbed needle to hold the fibres in place. The piece was then felted using hot soapy water and a lot of elbow-grease! Detail was then added using needle-felting and free motion machine embroidery. I’ve included a photo of some of the processes involved.
 
The unframed painting is approximately 35 x 25cm .  The painting is £85 unframed.
